About the Course

The Country Club of Colorado's championship course is an 18-hole, par-71 layout designed by Pete Dye, along with Roy Dye, and opened in 1973 as Dye's first course west of the Mississippi River, with a later renovation by architect Rick Phelps. Playing to nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees, with multiple tees from about 5,490 yards, it winds around a 35-acre lake beneath Cheyenne Mountain, defended by angled doglegs, sprawling bunkers, and Dye's signature strategic touches.
