Venue Overview
City Golf COS is an indoor golf lounge downstairs at Trainwreck in downtown Colorado Springs, a short walk from Weidner Field. Four simulator bays with more than 1,350 courses sit inside a lounge with sofas and tables, and Trainwreck serves the food and drinks. What sets it apart is the teaching: owner and lead instructor Mark Kelbel is a former longtime Broadmoor golf professional and a 2017 Colorado Golf Professional of the Year. Weeknight fall leagues, a Thursday ladies league and Friday gaming nights give the room a full calendar from fall through spring.

Owner Mark Kelbel spent nearly 20 years as head golf professional at The Broadmoor and has also served as a lead instructor at The Broadmoor and at Eisenhower Golf Club at the U.S. Air Force Academy. He founded Fearless Golf, a nonprofit that makes golf accessible to at-risk youth, and the space was designed to host local high school teams as well as everyday players.
