This Media Release applies to everyone with a Colorado Under Par ("CUP") account and everyone who registers, sponsors, volunteers, exhibits or works at an event listed, ticketed or run through CUP. It adds to the CUP Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Photos and video
Events are often photographed and filmed. By creating an account, signing in, registering or taking part, you allow CUP and the event's host to take photos, video and audio that may include you, your team, your business, your logo or your booth, and to use them, without payment, to share and promote the event, future events and CUP. That includes the CUP website, social media, email newsletters, ads, printed materials and press.
2. Names and recognition
CUP may show your first name and last initial, team name, business name or logo with results, leaderboards, sponsor recognition, galleries and thank-you posts. Sponsors and partners allow CUP to show the logos and names they provide.
3. Opting out
You can opt out at any time by contacting CUP. CUP will stop new uses of images that show you and will remove them from the CUP website and CUP social accounts on request. CUP cannot recall printed materials or posts other people already shared. At an event, you can also tell the photographer you do not want to be photographed.
4. Minors
CUP accounts are for adults 18 and over. A parent or guardian who registers a minor agrees to this release for that minor. CUP does not name minors in posts without a parent's permission.
5. Emails
With an account, CUP may email you about events, perks and updates near you, in addition to emails about your orders and teams. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can turn CUP emails off in your account. Event hosts may also email you about their own events under their own policies.
