Venue Overview

Valley Hi Golf Course is a City of Colorado Springs municipal golf course on the city's east side, offering 18 holes of traditional parkland-style golf with sweeping views of Pikes Peak and Cheyenne Mountain. One of three municipal courses operated under the same ownership group alongside Patty Jewett Golf Course, Valley Hi has been a fixture of Colorado Springs golf for seven decades, prized by locals for its walkable layout, mature trees, and accessible green fees. Sitting at roughly 6,000 feet of elevation, the course also rewards golfers with a bit of extra carry distance on every shot compared to sea-level layouts.

• Designed by golf course architect Henry B. Hughes and opened in 1954
• 18 holes playing to a par of 72 across 6,940 yards from the longest tees

Practice Facilities

Valley Hi's practice complex includes a driving range with six practice tees, a dedicated putting green, and a short-game chipping area, giving golfers a full warm-up before heading to the first tee. The pro shop also coordinates club fitting and rental clubs for visitors who arrive without their own equipment.
