TPC Colorado is an 18-hole championship course in Berthoud, Colorado, and the only PGA TOUR-managed golf course in the state. Part of the elite TPC Network and designed by architect Art Schaupeter, this semi-private course winds through the Heron Lakes community alongside three sparkling reservoirs, with panoramic views of Longs Peak, Mount Meeker, and the entire Front Range. Home to an annual Korn Ferry Tour event and famous for the 773-yard par-5 13th, the longest hole in PGA TOUR event golf, TPC Colorado pairs tournament pedigree with broad, playable fairways and a spectacular 65,000-square-foot clubhouse, making it one of the premier destinations in the state for elevated golf events and outings.

About the Course

TPC Colorado is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Arthur Schaupeter Golf Course Architects and opened in 2018, licensed by the PGA TOUR as part of the TPC Network. Built around Lonetree, McNeil, and Welch Reservoirs in a Scottish links style, it can stretch to nearly 8,000 yards for tournament play yet remains enjoyable for every level thanks to seven sets of tees and four combo tees. As a semi-private club, it reserves premium access for members while offering a limited number of public tee times. The Playing Experience

TPC Colorado plays like a slice of Scotland dropped onto the Front Range. Schaupeter's out-and-back routing is lined with dozens of revetted pot bunkers, and the design rewards thought over raw power, broad, forgiving fairways give way to strategic contours, risk-reward choices, and tucked hole locations that reveal themselves over repeat rounds. There are architectural treats throughout, from a classic Biarritz green to a trio of tempting short par-4s and two contrasting styles of bunkering. And then there is the 13th, "Longer Still," a 773-yard par-5 fronted by a 108-yard "Hell Bunker," a genuine three-shot hole and the longest in tour golf. Peninsula greens, a Longs Peak-framed par-3 8th, and constant reservoir and mountain views make it as scenic as it is strategic. It stretches to nearly 8,000 yards, but Colorado's thin air and generous landing areas keep it fun for everyday players.

Lessons at TPC Colorado are available with PGA Assistant Professional Zach Peck, whose coaching is verified on PGA.com. He works with golfers at this championship Berthoud course on everything from the full swing to on-course strategy, with private lessons arranged through the golf shop. (Instructor as of 2026.)

As a PGA TOUR-managed facility, TPC Colorado is one of the premier event venues in the state. It hosts an annual Korn Ferry Tour event and is exceptionally equipped for corporate and charity tournaments, with a tournament-tested layout, a 65,000-square-foot clubhouse, multiple dining venues, and dedicated event spaces that can handle groups of nearly any size in style.
