Meadow Hills Golf Course is a public, 18-hole regulation course in Aurora, Colorado, built in 1957 and designed by Henry B. Hughes as a private country club before later becoming public. Known for tree-lined fairways, large lakes, and some of the best views in the Denver metro, Meadow Hills hosted the PGA Tour's Denver Open in 1961 and remains one of the area's most popular and best-value public rounds.

Traditional Golf With Tour History

Meadow Hills hosted the Denver Open in 1961, giving it a genuine tour pedigree among Colorado's public courses — a distinction shared by only a handful of municipal tracks in the state. The tight fairways and small greens that once tested touring professionals still demand accuracy and course management from golfers today, and the course's tree-lined layout and lake views are widely regarded as some of the best scenery available on a public track in the Denver metro. Designer Henry B. Hughes also laid out sister Aurora course Aurora Hills, giving the two courses a shared design lineage within the same municipal system.

• Caine Fitzgerald, PGA, Head Golf Professional
• Bill Hancock, PGA — a PGA member since 1996 and University of Denver graduate; 2002 Sun Country PGA champion, runner-up in the 1998 New Mexico Open to Notah Begay III, and a six-time qualifier for the PGA Club Pro Championship
