Venue Overview

Patty Jewett Golf Course is a Colorado Springs institution, open for play continuously since 1898, making it one of the oldest public golf courses west of the Mississippi River. With a wrought-iron entrance gate, a canopy of century-old trees, and sweeping views of Pikes Peak, Patty Jewett offers a genuinely historic round in the heart of the city.

About the Course

Patty Jewett opened in 1898 and has been owned and operated by the City of Colorado Springs since 1919, giving it one of the longest continuous operating histories of any public course in the country. The course was designed by Willie Campbell and today comprises 27 holes across three nines, Peak, Plains, and Prairie, allowing golfers to combine any two for an 18-hole round at a combined par of 72. The current course record of 61 was set by Colin Prater on the Peak and Plains combination. Patty Jewett is also a member of the Audubon Sanctuary Program, reflecting the course’s ongoing wildlife and habitat management efforts.
