Patty Jewett Golf Course is a Colorado Springs institution — open for play continuously since 1898, making it one of the oldest public golf courses west of the Mississippi River. About the Course

Patty Jewett opened in 1898 and has been owned and operated by the City of Colorado Springs since 1919, giving it one of the longest continuous operating histories of any public course in the country. The course was designed by Willie Campbell and today comprises 27 holes across three nines — Peak, Plains, and Prairie — allowing golfers to combine any two for an 18-hole round at a combined par of 72. The current course record of 61 was set by Colin Prater on the Peak and Plains combination. Patty Jewett is also a member of the Audubon Sanctuary Program, reflecting the course's ongoing wildlife and habitat management efforts.

Patty Jewett offers a full-service range on mats, a putting green, and a short-game practice area, along with rental club sets for men and women and a well-stocked golf shop. On site, the Patty Jewett Bar & Grill serves food and drinks with sweeping views of Pikes Peak, and the course hosts banquets for larger private events. Lessons & Instruction

Golf instruction at Patty Jewett is coordinated through the Patty Jewett Golf Shop, which also serves sister course Valley Hi Golf Course.

The shop offers a five-week Women's Learn to Golf series (Patty Jewett only, $129 per person, up to eight women per class), private lessons, and group lessons for golfers of all levels; junior golf camps are also available seasonally. Tournaments & Events

Patty Jewett hosts the City Championship and the Pikes Peak Amateur, two of the Colorado Springs golf community's marquee annual events, plus an active slate of member leagues including the Afternoon Golf Leagues, Microchip Friday League, Patty Jewett 18 Hole Women, Patty Niners, and the Above Par Friday League.
