Venue Overview

Established in 1954, Colorado Springs Country Club is the city’s only member-owned golf and country club, set on more than 100 pristine acres with sweeping views of Pikes Peak, the Rocky Mountains, and neighboring Palmer Park. The club’s foundation traces to a natural rock barn built in the early 1900s, which still anchors today’s clubhouse. What began as a family-oriented nonprofit club with a 9-hole course added in 1957 has grown into a full 18-hole championship layout paired with tennis, pickleball, aquatics, fitness, and year-round social programming for members and their families.

About the Course

  • 18-hole championship course designed by architect Willie Watson, playing to 7,030 yards
  • Mature, tree-lined layout with five sets of tees for every skill level
  • Signature par-3 12th hole is the club’s Audubon-certified showcase, framed by a water hazard and a heavily tiered green
  • Brisk average pace of play under four hours, with options to walk, carry, pull, or ride
  • The club’s full 100-plus acre campus is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, maintained as a significant wildlife habitat
  • Colorado Springs’ only member-owned golf and country club, founded in 1954

Practice Facilities

Golfers have access to a practice range along with dedicated putting and chipping greens to sharpen their short game before a round. The golf shop stocks equipment and clothing, with rental clubs, pull carts, and golf carts available, plus storage for member bags and carts.

Dining and Amenities

CSCC serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, with traditional menus refreshed regularly by the club’s Executive Chef and Pastry Chef and featuring seasonal entrees and weekly specials. Members can dine in the main Dining Room, relax in the casual Lounge, or take in pool and course views from the covered Patio during warmer months. The Golf Patio overlooks the 9th green and pairs with the Founder’s Grill for refreshments after a round. Beyond the course, membership includes a renovated aquatics complex with a heated main pool, slide, diving board, toddler pool, and four-lane lap pool; four outdoor tennis courts, two with lighting; dedicated pickleball programming; and a fitness center offering more than 700 complimentary group classes a year, from circuit training to yoga and mat Pilates.

Lessons & Instruction

CSCC’s golf shop is staffed by PGA teaching professionals offering private and semi-private lessons along with group clinics for members of every age and skill level.

  • Beau S. Smith, PGA: Head Golf Professional
  • Noah R. Hennig, PGA: Assistant Golf Professional

Junior golfers can join PGA Junior League Golf, a team-format league for boys and girls 13 and under, or enroll in Summer Youth Programs with the club’s PGA teaching staff starting at age 4. In July 2026, the club named PGA of America Golf Professional Michael Jones as its new General Manager, bringing club leadership experience from the Club at Pradera & Pinery Country Club, the Club at Snoqualmie, and Suncadia Resort.

Tournaments & Events

CSCC’s Men’s Golf Association (MGA) runs a full slate of competitive events throughout the season, while the club’s 9-Hole Women’s Golf Association (9WGA) and 18-Hole Women’s Golf Association (18WGA) organize plays-of-the-day, tournaments, and social events for women members. Couples golf events round out the competitive calendar. Members also have access to more than 200 private clubs nationwide through the Private Club Network (PCN) reciprocal program, extending the club’s reach well beyond Colorado Springs.

Planning Your Event Here

As a private, member-owned club, golf access at Colorado Springs Country Club is reserved for members and their guests. The clubhouse’s private, well-appointed banquet rooms host weddings, holiday parties, wine pairing dinners, and family celebrations year-round, typically arranged through a member sponsor or the club’s events staff. Groups interested in a golf outing or private function at CSCC should reach out directly to discuss membership sponsorship and event scheduling.

Apply for Event Management

Event Management Application (2027)
CUP manages 10 sporting events per season, and that is the cap.
Applications for the 2027 season are open now. Returning clients confirm their dates first, then remaining slots go to new clients. This is an application, not a booking, and it takes about 6 minutes.

Your organization

Who is hosting, and how we reach you.

Beneficiary

Only if the event raises money for a cause.

Your sporting event

The basics we need to judge fit.

Out-of-state note: our standard pricing covers events held in Colorado. Events outside Colorado are quoted individually with travel and on-site costs included.
Worth knowing before you submit: our fully-managed service starts at 100 people on site. Below that the economics do not work for either of us, so this is likely not a fit. You can still apply, and you can always list your sporting event on the CUP calendar instead.
This one gets a custom quote. Our standard service model covers single-day events with 100 to 160 people on site, including vendors. Larger fields and multi-day events still work, we just scope them and send a custom quote instead of a standard price.

What success looks like

So we can tell you straight whether we are the right team.

Budget and timing

Fully-managed service is a real line item. Straight answers save us both time.

A CUP engagement runs roughly 150 to 200 hours of planning, design, marketing and coordination, handled by one team from the first call to the final award. Applications need a real budget line for professional management, separate from venue, food and prizes.
Worth knowing before you submit: a fully-managed engagement sits above this range, so this is likely not a fit for 2027. You are welcome to apply anyway. If self-serve is the better move right now, you can list your sporting event and add promotion here: list your event.

Last bit

Then we will be in touch.
