About the Course

Originally opened as Centennial Downs Golf Course, the layout was designed by noted Colorado golf architect Dick Phelps and established in 1986. Today it plays to 4,706 yards from the blue tees as a par-63 executive course, giving golfers of all speeds and skill levels a quicker round without sacrificing challenge. The course sits adjacent to the South Platte River and the Mary Carter Greenway Trail, giving it a scenic, riverside setting uncommon among Denver-metro courses.

Littleton Golf and Tennis Club's practice facilities include a grass driving range with water targets and a dedicated putting green, giving golfers a place to warm up before heading to the first tee. Lessons & Instruction

Littleton Golf and Tennis Club offers private, semi-private, and group golf lessons for players of every skill level, with an emphasis on building an enjoyable learning experience tailored to each student's style, from complete beginners to seasoned players. SSPRD does not publish individual instructor names for this location; instead, it guarantees instructor quality through the following standard:

• PGA of America members or apprentices – all lessons are taught by credentialed golf professionals
• LPGA of America members – women's instruction available from LPGA-credentialed professionals
• 5+ years of personal teaching experience – the minimum bar for any instructor on staff who is not yet PGA/LPGA-credentialed

Junior golfers receive special lesson rates. Private lesson pricing starts at $75 for a single lesson and drops with additional players or a four-lesson series. Golfers can also register for group clinics, camps, and classes throughout the season through SSPRD's registration system. Tournaments & Events

The club runs an active league program, including the Men's Club, which plays once or twice a month on Saturdays from March through October, along with a Ladies 9-Hole League on Wednesday mornings and a Ladies 18-Hole League on Thursday mornings, both running April through October. The indoor tennis facility hosts its own lessons, leagues, and tournaments year-round, giving the club a busy events calendar on both sides of its operation.
