Venue Overview

Twin Peaks Golf Course is the City of Longmont's flagship municipal golf course, an 18-hole, par-70 layout designed by golf architect Frank Hummel and named for the twin summits of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker that anchor its mountain views. Wide open and welcoming off the tee yet famous for some of the fastest, most challenging greens in Colorado, Twin Peaks rewards players of every level with a fair, traditional design, uninterrupted Front Range scenery, and genuine value less than an hour from Denver. With a full practice facility, restaurant and bar, and flexible event space, it is a friendly and popular home for tournaments, outings, and group play.

About the Course

Operated by the City of Longmont, Twin Peaks Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-70 course designed by Frank Hummel and opened in 1977. Its flat, generous fairways make it approachable for players of all abilities, while a mix of doglegs, strategically placed trees, and notoriously quick greens gives it enough teeth to test the best golfers in the area. Course features: 18-hole, par-70 traditional layout designed by Frank Hummel 6,810 yards from the longest tees, with a course rating of 71.7 and a slope of 123 Opened in 1977 as a City of Longmont municipal course Wide-open, mostly flat fairways that are forgiving off the tee Elevated greens known for being among the fastest in Colorado A mix of straightforward holes and doglegs, with a few strategic trees Uninterrupted views of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker, the course's namesake twin peaks Full driving range, chipping and putting greens, and a practice facility

The Playing Experience

Twin Peaks is welcoming and playable from the first tee, then quietly demanding by the time you reach the green. The fairways are wide, flat, and generous, so beginners can swing freely, but the greens are the real story: elevated, firm, and famously fast, they roll true year-round and punish anything landing above the hole, leaving tricky uphill and downhill chips from the surrounding mounding. A handful of doglegs and well-placed trees ask for some accuracy, but overall this is a fair, confidence-building layout with just enough challenge to keep better players honest. Throughout the round, the wide-open setting frames uninterrupted views of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker, the twin summits that give the course its name.

Apply for Event Management

Event Management Application (2027)
CUP manages 10 sporting events per season, and that is the cap.
Applications for the 2027 season are reviewed starting October 1, 2026. Returning clients confirm their dates first, then remaining slots go to new clients. This is an application, not a booking, and it takes about 6 minutes.

Your organization

Who is hosting, and how we reach you.

Beneficiary

Only if the event raises money for a cause.

Your sporting event

The basics we need to judge fit.

Out-of-state note: our standard pricing covers events held in Colorado. Events outside Colorado are quoted individually with travel and on-site costs included.
Worth knowing before you submit: our fully-managed service starts at 100 people on site. Below that the economics do not work for either of us, so this is likely not a fit. You can still apply, and you can always list your sporting event on the CUP calendar instead.
This one gets a custom quote. Our standard service model covers single-day events with 100 to 160 people on site, including vendors. Larger fields and multi-day events still work, we just scope them and send a custom quote instead of a standard price.

What success looks like

So we can tell you straight whether we are the right team.

Budget and timing

Fully-managed service is a real line item. Straight answers save us both time.

A CUP engagement runs roughly 150 to 200 hours of planning, design, marketing and coordination, handled by one team from the first call to the final award. Applications need a real budget line for professional management, separate from venue, food and prizes.
Worth knowing before you submit: a fully-managed engagement sits above this range, so this is likely not a fit for 2027. You are welcome to apply anyway. If self-serve is the better move right now, you can list your sporting event and add promotion here: list your event.
