Venue Overview

Ironwood Bar sits at 700 Ken Pratt Blvd, Suite 105 in Longmont, 80501, reachable at 720-340-7274. It is a kitchen-less Longmont sports bar whose Full Swing golf simulator bays double as big-screen viewing walls. The identity is built around Chicago teams and the English Premier League, so this is as much a watch-party room as a golf room.

The space runs 3,000 square feet with high ceilings and exposed brick. Buyouts go up to 95 guests, and the smallest bookable groups start at 6. The venue does not publish a bay count, and we are not going to state one.

About the Bays

The bays run Full Swing simulators. Published courses include Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Torrey Pines and TPC Sawgrass, among others. The screens do double duty: when nobody is hitting, they become the room's viewing walls, backed by 5 HD TVs, 3 projectors, surround sound and full AV.

Peak-season bay rental runs October 1 through March 30. Monday through Thursday all day, and Friday until 3pm, the rate is $45 per bay per hour. Friday after 3pm, Saturday and Sunday it is $55 per bay per hour. Off-peak rates are not published. Booking runs through clients.uschedule.com.

There are limited first-come memberships, which bring discounted simulator rates, drink discounts and priority tee times. Full members may play from 7am on weekends.

Watch Parties and the No-Kitchen Rule

Two things define the experience here. The first is the watch-party programming. Ironwood opens early for key Premier League matches, and the Chicago-teams identity is not decoration, it is the reason a lot of regulars pick this room over another one.

The second is that there is no kitchen. Ironwood serves bar snacks and sandwiches only, and invites guests to bring food from the adjacent Parkway Food Hall or order in. For a planner that is genuinely useful, because catering becomes something you control. On drinks, expect rotating local craft beer, cocktails and coffee.

Leagues & Instruction

Ironwood runs leagues year round. The Fall 2026 Sim Golf League runs September 21 to December 17, 2026, with 3-person teams playing a TGL-style format: 12 holes of alternate shot plus 6 singles holes each week, with hammers. It is a round robin followed by a Champions League style playoff, and entry is $600 per team.

Winter 2026 evening team leagues run Tuesday through Thursday with 10 eighteen-hole matches plus 2 playoff weeks, cash payouts and Iron Cup engraving. There are also individual lunch leagues, and weekend and holiday stroke-play tournaments with live leaderboards and cash payouts. GHIN handicaps are used throughout.

For instruction, the venue publishes one name: Mike Martin, golf instructor. He is a PGA Associate working toward Class A, serves as Assistant Professional at Fox Hill Club, and brings 5 years of teaching and 25 years of playing. Lessons are $100 for a bay hour.

Events

Beyond golf, the calendar carries trivia nights and Sunday service-industry specials, plus the Premier League and Chicago-team watch parties the room is built for. Happy hour runs Wednesday and Thursday 3pm to 6pm, and Friday 4pm to 6pm.

Planning Your Sporting Event Here

Start with the hours, because they are tighter than most bars. Monday and Tuesday the venue is closed. Wednesday and Thursday it runs 2pm to 8pm, Friday 4pm to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 10pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. A Saturday buyout gives you the widest window by a good margin.

Then plan food. There is no kitchen, so decide early whether you are pulling from Parkway Food Hall next door or ordering delivery.
