Venue Overview

Springs Pickleball East opened on June 14, 2025 in the Powers corridor at 2975 New Center Point, in a 30,000 square foot building that used to be a Big Lots. It is the larger of the operator's two Colorado Springs clubs, holding eleven of their nineteen total indoor courts, and it is the one built for spectating: a full wrap-around bar and a player lounge called The Patio both look out over a designated championship court. Every court has a free AI recording camera, so players can review their own matches.

About the Courts

Eleven indoor courts, all dedicated pickleball. Nothing here is dual-striped or shared with tennis, and one court is designated the championship court for feature matches and streamed play. The club has specialized lighting installed specifically for indoor pickleball. Court surface material is not published by the operator, so we have not listed one. Posted hours are 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.

The Championship Court, the Bar and the Cameras

Three things separate East from a typical indoor club. The championship court is a real feature court, used for Sunday Night Money Ball, which runs weekly at 5:00 PM with live commentary and cash payouts. The wrap-around bar and The Patio lounge give non-playing guests somewhere to sit and watch, which most indoor clubs do not. And the free AI cameras on every court mean any recreational game can be reviewed afterward at no extra cost.

Lessons & Instruction

East has a named coaching staff, which is unusual for Colorado pickleball venues. Ellen Steinlein is Director of Coaching and Programs. Mick Tingstrom is a PPR Certified Coach. Joe Frasca is a Senior Pro and co-founder of NeuroPickleball. Samantha Morgan is an instructor. The club runs a free Intro to Pickleball class multiple times a week with paddles provided, level-based open play in rotating two-hour sessions, clinics and private lessons, DUPR rating clinics, and youth programs and camps, which are published under the East block specifically.

Leagues & Events

The Fall Classic Tournament runs September 18 to 20, 2026 at East, DUPR-rated, with an open-division cash prize and live match streams. Sunday Night Money Ball runs weekly. Social programming includes Dink and Drink, Ladies' Night Out, Date Night Doubles, Glow Night and Paddle Up Weekends. The operator also runs a 2026 Championship Series of DUPR-rated indoor tournaments.
