Venue Overview
Peak Pickleball is a 24-court indoor pickleball facility in Colorado Springs, built into the former Burlington space at Chapel Hills Mall and opened to the public in October 2024. Owned and operated by Scott and Tina Wilson, the two-level club is described by its operators and by regional press as one of the largest privately owned indoor pickleball facilities in the country. For players on the Front Range south of Denver, it removes the seasonal ceiling that limits outdoor play: 24 air-conditioned courts, open seven days a week from early morning to evening, regardless of what the weather is doing outside.About the Courts
The 24 courts are spread across two levels and broken into four distinct groups. Four championship courts measure 34 by 64 feet with dedicated spectator seating, sized for tournament play and finals matches. Nineteen recreational courts run 32 by 62 feet, still oversized compared with the minimum standard, which gives players real room behind the baseline. One private court is available for lessons and closed sessions, and two dink practice courts with full-width nets round out the layout for players working on soft-game touch. All courts are professionally surfaced concrete, and the building includes noise-dampening treatment, a rarity in converted retail spaces where sound normally bounces uncontrolled.Scale That Changes What You Can Host
Twenty-four courts under one roof puts Peak in a different category from most Colorado facilities. Tournament directors can run large brackets without the multi-day scheduling squeeze that eight- or twelve-court venues force, and the four championship courts give finals a genuine spectator setting rather than a roped-off rec court. Peak has already run tournament play at that scale, hosting The Pickle Bowl in February 2025 with 156 players across skill levels from 3.0 to 4.5 and above. A lodging partnership with Hotel Polaris supports out-of-town players traveling in for multi-day events.Facilities & Amenities
