About the Course

Pine Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Richard Phelps and opened in the spring of 1988 on 200 acres in Colorado Springs. Both physically and mentally demanding, it plays from as short as 5,314 yards up to more than 7,194 yards from the professional tees, with two to five tee boxes per hole to fit every level. It is open to the public and open year-round. The front nine plays as a canyon-style course, tight and strategic, while the back nine opens into an American-style links design, and both demand precision, as the club likes to say, be ready to play every club in your bag. Wandering creek beds come into play on 15 holes, and with 376 feet of elevation change, natural grasslands, trees, lakes, and well-placed bunkers, there is a shot to think through at nearly every turn. A slope of 145 from the tips makes it a genuine test for accomplished players, while the multiple tee options keep it fair for everyone else. And throughout, the views of Pikes Peak, the Front Range, and the entire Colorado Springs skyline are simply spectacular.
