Homestead was designed by architect Denis Griffiths, ASGCA — the same architect behind sister course Fox Hollow — and opened in 2002. The course plays to a par of 65 across 5,048 yards from its longest tees, making it a genuinely shorter, more compact track than a typical championship course. That shorter yardage is exactly what makes Homestead such a valuable complement to Fox Hollow: it rewards accuracy, club selection, and short-game touch over raw power, giving golfers of every skill level a course they can play quickly while still being tested on every shot.
