Venue Overview
Springs Pickleball East is an indoor pickleball club in the Powers corridor of Colorado Springs, opened on June 14, 2025 in a 30,000 square foot former Big Lots. It is the larger of the operator’s two Colorado Springs clubs, holding eleven of their nineteen indoor courts, and it is the one built for spectating: a full wrap-around bar and a player lounge called The Patio both look out over a designated championship court. Every court has a free AI recording camera, so players can review their own matches. Indoor courts keep the calendar running year-round, and the room is set up for events with an audience.
About the Courts
All eleven courts are dedicated pickleball. Nothing is dual-striped or shared with tennis, and the club installed lighting specifically for indoor pickleball. The operator does not publish the court surface material.
- Eleven dedicated indoor courts
- One championship court for feature matches and streamed play
- Specialized indoor pickleball lighting
- Free AI recording camera on every court
- Booking through CourtReserve (East is facility ID 15687); guests can book without an account
Play and Programs
Level-based open play runs in rotating two-hour sessions. A free Intro to Pickleball class runs multiple times a week with paddles provided, and DUPR rating clinics help players get an accurate rating. Free rental paddles mean a newcomer can show up empty-handed.

- Joe Frasca: Senior Pro and co-founder of NeuroPickleball
- Samantha Morgan: Instructor
Programs include the free Intro to Pickleball class, clinics and private lessons, DUPR rating clinics, and youth programs and camps, which are published under the East location specifically.
Private Events & Groups
The private party room holds up to 100 guests, and party packages can include fountain drinks and pizza. The bar and The Patio give non-playing guests a place to watch the championship court.
Membership
No membership is required, and walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is safer. Membership tiers set the advance-booking window, from three days for guests up to ten days for the top tier.
