Venue Overview
Greenway Park Golf Course is a public, 9-hole par-3 golf course in Broomfield, Colorado, tucked into Greenway Park just off 120th Avenue. Opened in 1973, the course plays to a par of 27 across 1,122 yards from the longest tees, and in 2025 was named the best short course in the country by GolfPass in its Golfer’s Choice awards, a notable distinction for a modest neighborhood facility competing against short courses nationwide.
About the Course
Greenway Park’s short, par-3 layout makes it one of the most accessible golf experiences in the Broomfield area, a genuine option for golfers short on time, newer players building confidence, and families looking to introduce kids to the game. The course has served the community since 1973, and it continues to operate as a neighborhood staple for casual, low-pressure golf. Its 2025 GolfPass Golfer’s Choice award as the nation’s best short course reflects a broader shift in how golfers value courses like Greenway Park: shorter layouts that trade championship length for a faster pace of play, lower green fees, and a design built around approachability rather than difficulty.

Why Short Courses Like Greenway Park Matter
Greenway Park’s national recognition highlights something regular players already know: short, par-3 courses fill a role full-length 18-hole layouts can’t. A round at Greenway Park typically takes a fraction of the time of a standard round, with green fees to match, making it one of the easiest ways for newer golfers, juniors, and busy adults to get on the course regularly. That accessibility, paired with well-maintained conditions recognized on a national stage, is exactly what earned the course its 2025 award.
