Keith Foster's design gives you room off the tee with expansive fairways, but water, well-placed bunkers, and, above all, the wind make it a genuine test, this is a course where your ability to flight the ball and manage the breeze really matters. The front nine eases you in before the back nine turns up the challenge, and there are a few holes you will remember, none more than the demanding par-3 13th, guarded by a well-placed bunker, and a long, downhill par-3 that tests your nerve. Six sets of tees keep it fair for everyone from beginners to scratch players, and with Rocky Mountain and prairie views in every direction, it is easy to see why it is consistently ranked among the region's best public courses.
