Venue Overview
Broomfield Swim and Tennis Club is a member-owned outdoor club at 250 Main St in Broomfield, established in 1958. That makes it one of the longer-running community racquet clubs on the north side of the metro. The office line is 720-215-2171 and the published contact email is victoria@broomfieldswimandtennis.com. This is a summer-season outdoor club; the club does not publish exact season dates or daily operating hours, so confirm before you drive over. There are no indoor courts and no bubble.
About the Courts
Six lighted outdoor tennis courts and two lighted pickleball courts, per the club's own count. Surface material is not published for either. Because everything is outdoors and lit, evening play works during the season, but the season itself is the limiting factor and the club does not post its start and end dates publicly. A neighboring option worth knowing about is covered below.
The Broomfield Open, and the Public Courts Next Door
The club's flagship is the Broomfield Open, which reaches its 42nd annual edition in 2026 and runs July 17 through 24, presented by Children's Hospital Colorado. The club calls it one of the largest tournaments in the state. Food is sold nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. during tournament week. There is also a Broomfield Battle Junior Tournament, though details were not retrievable. Separately, and often confused with the club, the adjacent Broomfield Community Park is a 41-acre City and County of Broomfield park bordered by First Avenue, Main Street, Third Avenue and Lamar Street. It has four public tennis courts on coin-operated lights that are unavailable before 4 p.m. and after 11 p.m., played first-come first-served, with a reservation line at 303-464-5509. It hosts the Broomfield Fall Open. Two different operations, two different access models.
Facilities & Amenities

- Children's playground

Lessons & Instruction
The club runs adult drills and lessons, junior tennis and Junior Team Tennis on the tennis side. Pickleball lessons are offered and, notably, are open to non-members as well as members, which is a rare opening at a private club. Pickleball socials run alongside them. On the aquatics side there are swim lessons, lap swim and the Sharks swim team. One limitation to be straight about: the club's staff page did not render on verification, so we are not naming any coaches here. Contact the club directly to ask who is currently teaching and what certifications they hold.
Leagues & Events
USTA and CTA adult leagues run out of this club, along with inter-club social mixers that bring in players from other Front Range clubs. The Broomfield Open anchors the summer calendar in the third and fourth weeks of July, and the Broomfield Battle Junior Tournament appears on the club's calendar as well. Court reservations are handled through CourtReserve.
Planning Your Sporting Event Here
This is a private membership club and no public daily fee is published, so general court access is a members-and-guests proposition. The exception is pickleball instruction, which the club explicitly opens to non-members. For anyone considering the site as a host, the practical picture is six lit tennis courts and two lit pickleball courts outdoors, a snack shop that has demonstrably handled nightly service during a week-long tournament, and a parking situation the club itself flags as tight. A 42-year run with the Broomfield Open is a reasonable proof of capability.
