The Coburn Community Classic is an inaugural charity golf tournament taking place Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Indian Peaks Golf Course in Lafayette, Colorado. Hosted by the Coburn Collective, this Boulder County scramble raises money for Community Food Share, the regional food bank serving Boulder and Broomfield counties.

The tournament has a fundraising goal of $10,000. Entry is $155 per player, the field is capped at 125 golfers, and registration closes Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Why This Tournament Exists

Founder Dakota Coburn is a fifth-generation Colorado native who grew up in Boulder County and spent more than two decades in the restaurant and hospitality industry before becoming a Realtor. As he tells it, that career taught him that food brings people together — around a table, strangers become friends and communities get built one conversation at a time.

He wanted to give back in a way that reflected those values: not just another fundraiser, but an event that brings neighbours, local businesses and community leaders together around a shared purpose. The partnership with Community Food Share turns a day on the golf course into food for families across Boulder County. According to the organizers, Community Food Share serves more than 60,000 people a year, including 4,811 children.

Tournament Format

Scramble format over 18 holes with a shotgun start. Players may register as individuals or as a team, with Open / Adult and Coed / Mixed divisions.
