A links-style layout set on the open prairie, it stretches to 7,411 yards from the longest of its six sets of tees, with water hazards, bunkers, and ever-present wind shaping the challenge. It is a municipal course, open to the public.

The Playing Experience
Buffalo Run brings a taste of links golf to the Colorado prairie. Keith Foster’s design gives you room off the tee with expansive fairways, but water, well-placed bunkers, and, above all, the wind make it a genuine test, this is a course where your ability to flight the ball and manage the breeze really matters. The front nine eases you in before the back nine turns up the challenge, and there are a few holes you will remember, none more than the demanding par-3 13th, guarded by a well-placed bunker, and a long, downhill par-3 that tests your nerve. Six sets of tees keep it fair for everyone from beginners to scratch players, and with Rocky Mountain and prairie views in every direction, it is easy to see why it is consistently ranked among the region’s best public courses.

Beyond one-on-one lessons, the course runs a Get Golf Ready program, a multi-week series of group classes designed to give beginners and returning players everything they need to step onto the course with confidence, along with group instruction by request, junior programs, a Men’s Club, a Women’s Club, and a Monday Night League.
