Chris DeSantis has been part of the Coyote Creek staff since 2019 and coaches local high school boys’ and girls’ golf teams, having guided multiple players to state qualifying and state placing finishes. His teaching approach breaks the game into five core areas, full swing, short game, putting, course management, and the mental game.
The course also runs an annual summer junior golf instruction program for ages 7 to 17, welcoming all skill levels. The three-session format includes range, chipping, and putting instruction, along with playing lessons scheduled during non-peak course times.
Coyote Creek is also home to an active league scene: the Coyote Creek Men’s Golf Association runs a handicapped, five-flight league on Wednesdays from early April through early September, with both nine- and eighteen-hole options, while the Coyote Creek Ladies Golf Association hosts a non-competitive nine-hole league on Tuesday afternoons from mid-April through mid-September, open to golfers of every experience level. The course also hosts a periodic Couples Night for members looking to play socially.
