If you’ve been part of the Colorado Under Par community for a while, you know we believe golf has the power to change lives. But when that power meets something as meaningful as honoring and supporting our veterans, it becomes far greater than a game. That belief is why we’re proud to stand behind PGA HOPE — and why we want you to know about the work they do.
PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) provides free, adaptive golf programming for veterans and active-duty military. On the surface it’s golf instruction. In practice, it’s something deeper: veterans rebuilding confidence, trust, and connection in a community that sees and supports them. The programs give participants more than a swing — they offer purpose, peace, and a path toward healing alongside others who understand.
The need is real and ongoing. In the last five years, PGA HOPE has served more than 1,700 veterans across Colorado, and over 400 more are currently on the waitlist — veterans waiting for their own shot at what the program offers. Every dollar raised helps the program say yes to more of them.
When Colorado PGA asked us to partner on the Raising HOPE for Heroes Gala, we said yes without hesitation. We showed up in full force — capturing the stories, amplifying the message, and putting our name and our hearts behind the cause, because we believe in it that much. In its first year, the gala raised $35,000 for PGA HOPE — funds that go directly toward getting veterans off the waitlist and onto the course. We were proud to play a part in supporting it.
For us, supporting PGA HOPE isn’t about charity in the abstract. It’s about backing a mission that demonstrably works — using golf, something our whole community loves, as a vehicle for hope, dignity, and human connection. It’s exactly the kind of impact we built Colorado Under Par to support: the moment where a game becomes something that genuinely changes lives.
If this resonates with you, there are real ways to help — whether or not there’s an event on the calendar right now:
There’s a lot competing for our attention, and it’s easy to scroll past, to say “maybe next time.” But supporting the people who served is a moment to look up and step in — to show our veterans that we see them, support them, and are showing up for them the way they showed up for us. That’s a commitment that doesn’t expire with any single event.
At Colorado Under Par, we’ll keep standing behind PGA HOPE and the veterans it serves. We hope you’ll join us.
Best regards,
Andrew Mueller, CEO, Colorado Under Par
