About the Course

Jim Engh's design at The Sanctuary takes full advantage of a site defined by towering rock formations, dramatic elevation change, and sweeping panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. Rather than imposing a conventional layout on the land, Engh routed the course to work with the terrain's natural drama, producing holes that feel carved out of the landscape rather than built on top of it.
