SOVRN Performance Lab is a training and sports-science facility at 150 Capital Drive, Suite 230 in Golden. It describes itself as more than a gym, a place where personal training, sports science and longevity medicine come together under one roof, working with everyone from newcomers to sports teams. About the Venue
The facility is organised around four service pillars: personal training tailored to individual goals and available one-on-one, semi-private or in a group; True Physical, which pairs longevity medicine with personal training; performance testing; and professional support from a multi-disciplinary team. Performance Testing
The performance lab runs metabolic, biomechanical and biomarker testing, including VO2 max, lactate threshold, resting metabolic rate and force plate assessment. Results feed directly into programme design rather than sitting in a report, which is what the facility means by smarter training.
Coaching & Staff
The team is led by founder and sports scientist Jonathan Davenport, who has worked in data-driven training for over a decade and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning and Coaching Practice. Aubrey Dean, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a BSc in Exercise Science, is Director of Youth Training. Dr. Carla Gargiulo is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
