South Suburban Golf Course is a public, 18-hole regulation golf course in Centennial, Colorado, designed by Richard M. Phelps and opened in 1974. Operated by South Suburban Parks and Recreation, with an adjacent 9-hole par-3 course for quicker rounds, South Suburban is set against a mountain backdrop with a full-service bar and grill on-site, making it a relaxed, regional favorite for both avid and beginning golfers.

South Suburban offers two courses in one location — a full 18-hole regulation layout stretching to 6,793 yards from the longest tees at a par of 72, and an adjacent 9-hole par-3 course — giving groups flexibility to match format to time and skill level. The course has a suburban setting with sweeping mountain views from the clubhouse and patio.

Part of a Denver-Metro Design Legacy

South Suburban shares its design pedigree with several other Denver-metro municipal courses laid out by Richard M. Phelps, including Kennedy Golf Course's Babe Lind nine and West Woods Golf Club's original two courses — a recurring name across the region's public golf system since the 1960s and '70s. More than five decades after it opened, South Suburban remains one of the busiest and most accessible regulation courses in the south Denver suburbs.

South Suburban offers tournament packages on both the regulation and par-3 course for groups looking to host a golf tournament. The course also runs an active golf league schedule, including a Men's Club, Ladies 9-Hole and 18-Hole Leagues, a Senior Ladies League, Par 3 Ladies League, and Senior Men's League, running April through October.
