Venue Overview

Rifle Creek Golf Course is a public golf course in Rifle, set against the grand Hogback Ridge just down the road from Rifle Mountain Park. Established in 1960, the course offers two distinct nine-hole tracks: a flat, traditional front nine built for championship-style play, and a scenic back nine that winds through the hills of the Hogback. Rifle Creek has earned a reputation as one of the best values in the country, having been voted #21 in Golfweek's 2022 Golfers' Choice rankings for value in the United States and #8 among Colorado's best courses that same year, all while keeping a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere for golfers of every experience level. Whether it's a quick nine before work or a full eighteen with friends, Rifle Creek's dual-track layout gives golfers two very different looks at the game within a single round.
