About the Course

Las Animas Golf Course has served the local golf community for four decades, combining bentgrass greens with Bermuda grass fairways for a classic Eastern Plains playing surface. The course includes water hazards and sand bunkers across its 9-hole layout, giving golfers more strategic variety than many small-town courses in the region. Walking is welcome throughout the round, and the course’s semi-private status keeps it accessible to visiting golfers while maintaining a strong local membership base. Set along the Arkansas River Valley, the course offers a quiet, small-town golf experience away from the crowds of Colorado’s larger municipal courses.

Practice Facilities

Las Animas Golf Course offers an on-site driving range with two practice tees and a putting green, giving golfers a place to warm up before their round.

Dining and Amenities

The course provides rental clubs and cart rentals for visiting golfers, and the pro shop staff can help with tee time reservations and course information. Golf carts are available for rent, and credit reservations are recommended ahead of weekend play during peak season. Golfers planning a visit are encouraged to call ahead for current rates and tee time availability.
