Venue Overview

Renowned golf course architect Jim Engh built Harmony Club atop the plains east of Fort Collins, opening the private, 18-hole championship layout in 2007. Set within the Harmony residential community in Timnath, the club has grown into Northern Colorado's premier private golf community, pairing a distinctive, boldly contoured Engh design with a full slate of dining, practice, and instructional amenities reserved exclusively for its members. Engh's bold, playful routing style, marked by dramatic bunkering, deep swales, and inventive green complexes, has made him one of the most distinctive golf course architects working in Colorado today, and Harmony stands as one of his signature Front Range designs.

About the Course

  • 18-hole championship course designed by acclaimed architect Jim Engh, opened for play in 2007
  • Stretches to 7,464 yards from the tips, with a course rating of 74.9 and a slope of 140
  • Signature Engh-style holes carry playful names like Moonscape, Serengeti, Mirage, and Needles Eye
  • Fairways route through a residential community on the plains southeast of Fort Collins, near Timnath
  • Finishing stretch includes the risk-reward par-4 17th, aptly nicknamed "Engh's Revenge"
  • Private, member-only golf community centered on Grand Tree Boulevard in Timnath

Practice Facilities

Harmony's practice complex includes an indoor hitting bay that keeps a member's game tuned year-round, along with a dedicated short-game facility that simulates every shot a golfer might face on the course, complete with an expanded green, a separate pitching green, bunkers, and multiple target greens ranging from 25 to 125 yards. The main practice range invites golfers to warm up before a round and encourages extra time working on their swing between rounds.

Dining and Amenities

Harmony's Restaurant serves dinner Wednesday through Sunday, with a seasonal menu built around fresh, local ingredients, house-made sauces, cheeses, and pastas, alongside a curated wine list and a bespoke craft cocktail program. Dining membership is available for full access to the club's culinary offerings, and prospective members can contact the club's House Manager for details on joining. Beyond the course and restaurant, Harmony functions as a full lifestyle community, with member-focused social programming and events woven throughout the calendar year.

Lessons & Instruction

Instruction at Harmony runs through the Northern Colorado Golf Academy, based on-site at the club.
  • Joe Chavez, PGA — Head Golf Professional, a Colorado native elected a Class "A" PGA Professional in January 2017
  • Stan Fenn — Director of Instruction, Northern Colorado Golf Academy at Harmony Club, with more than 35 years of teaching experience ranging from beginners to PGA Tour players
Fenn joined Harmony in 2009 after a career that included serving as Director of Golf at Plum Creek and hosting a golf radio show on ESPN, and he teaches individual and group lessons as well as clinics for both members and non-members. Golf operations at the club are overseen by Director of Golf Eric Knotts, a Colorado State University graduate with a background in club fitting, merchandising, and tournament operations.

Tournaments & Events

As Northern Colorado's premier private golf community, Harmony hosts a full calendar of member tournaments and social golf events throughout the season, supported by a dedicated golf operations staff. The club's practice facilities and Engh-designed championship layout also make it a sought-after site for member-hosted outings, corporate golf days, and club championships throughout the year.

Planning Your Event Here

Harmony is a private, membership-based club, and golf access, dining, and event space are reserved for members and their guests. Members interested in hosting a tournament, outing, or private gathering at Harmony should coordinate directly with the club's golf operations and events staff to arrange scheduling and logistics.

Apply for Event Management

Event Management Application (2027)
CUP manages 10 sporting events per season, and that is the cap.
Applications for the 2027 season are reviewed starting October 1, 2026. Returning clients confirm their dates first, then remaining slots go to new clients. This is an application, not a booking, and it takes about 6 minutes.

Your organization

Who is hosting, and how we reach you.

Beneficiary

Only if the event raises money for a cause.

Your sporting event

The basics we need to judge fit.

Out-of-state note: our standard pricing covers events held in Colorado. Events outside Colorado are quoted individually with travel and on-site costs included.
Worth knowing before you submit: our fully-managed service starts at 100 people on site. Below that the economics do not work for either of us, so this is likely not a fit. You can still apply, and you can always list your sporting event on the CUP calendar instead.
This one gets a custom quote. Our standard service model covers single-day events with 100 to 160 people on site, including vendors. Larger fields and multi-day events still work, we just scope them and send a custom quote instead of a standard price.

What success looks like

So we can tell you straight whether we are the right team.

Budget and timing

Fully-managed service is a real line item. Straight answers save us both time.

A CUP engagement runs roughly 150 to 200 hours of planning, design, marketing and coordination, handled by one team from the first call to the final award. Applications need a real budget line for professional management, separate from venue, food and prizes.
Worth knowing before you submit: a fully-managed engagement sits above this range, so this is likely not a fit for 2027. You are welcome to apply anyway. If self-serve is the better move right now, you can list your sporting event and add promotion here: list your event.
