Venue Overview

The Colorado State University Tennis Complex is a 12-court outdoor facility on the CSU campus in Fort Collins, home to the Colorado State Rams' NCAA Division I women's tennis program and open seasonally to the public for court rentals, lessons, and youth camps. Located at 2400 Research Blvd. on the south end of campus, the complex features eight lighted courts and a 25-foot viewing area, and it's entering a new era in 2026 as CSU Athletics moves into the Pac-12 Conference under first-year head coach Blake Mosley.

About the Tennis Complex

Built to serve both varsity competition and campus recreation, the CSU Tennis Complex is managed through the university's scheduling office and open mid-March through the end of October, weather permitting. The 12 courts host Rams home matches, CSU's club tennis team, youth tennis camps, and public reservations, giving Fort Collins one of the largest concentrations of dedicated outdoor tennis courts in Northern Colorado.
  • 12 outdoor courts, 8 lighted for evening play
  • 25-foot viewing area for spectators
  • Home venue of Colorado State Rams women's tennis (NCAA Division I)
  • Open seasonally, mid-March through late October
  • Hours: 6:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Saturday–Sunday

Colorado State Women's Tennis

In July 2026, Colorado State named Blake Mosley the fifth head coach in program history, bringing three decades of coaching experience that includes head coaching stints at Appalachian State — where he led the Mountaineers to their first Sun Belt regular-season title and a program-first national ranking — and Chaminade, plus assistant roles at Colorado, Oklahoma, and Santa Clara. Mosley inherits a Rams team that has produced an all-conference doubles pairing for eight consecutive seasons, including 2026 honorees Sorcha Caves and her partner, and takes the reins as Colorado State transitions from the Mountain West into the Pac-12 Conference.

Public Play, Lessons & Camps

Beyond varsity competition, the complex is a hub for tennis instruction in Fort Collins. CSU's Adidas Tennis Camp brings junior players to the complex for week-long sessions each summer, and the CSU Club Tennis team — a coed group of former high school players competing under the USTA — practices Monday through Thursday evenings on-site and holds fall tryouts open to the CSU community. Public court reservations and rental inquiries for the complex go through the university's scheduling office.

Amenities

  • 12 outdoor hard courts, 8 with lighting
  • Spectator viewing area
  • On-campus parking near the complex
  • Access to CSU Campus Recreation's broader athletic facilities

Tournaments & Events

The CSU Tennis Complex hosts Colorado State's home dual matches each spring against Mountain West (and, starting in 2026, Pac-12) opponents, along with club tennis tournaments, youth camps, and community events. For questions or court reservations outside of scheduled athletics use, contact the University Scheduling Office at 970-491-0056.

Planning Your Event Here

With 12 courts, lighting for evening sessions, and a location built to host collegiate competition, the CSU Tennis Complex can support everything from a community tournament to a corporate or club event. Reservations run through the university scheduling office, and advance notice is recommended given the facility's regular use by CSU Athletics and Campus Recreation. The complex is located at 2400 Research Blvd., Fort Collins, CO 80523 (970-491-0056).

Apply for Event Management

Event Management Application (2027)
CUP manages 10 sporting events per season, and that is the cap.
Applications for the 2027 season are reviewed starting October 1, 2026. Returning clients confirm their dates first, then remaining slots go to new clients. This is an application, not a booking, and it takes about 6 minutes.

Your organization

Who is hosting, and how we reach you.

Beneficiary

Only if the event raises money for a cause.

Your sporting event

The basics we need to judge fit.

Out-of-state note: our standard pricing covers events held in Colorado. Events outside Colorado are quoted individually with travel and on-site costs included.
Worth knowing before you submit: our fully-managed service starts at 100 people on site. Below that the economics do not work for either of us, so this is likely not a fit. You can still apply, and you can always list your sporting event on the CUP calendar instead.
This one gets a custom quote. Our standard service model covers single-day events with 100 to 160 people on site, including vendors. Larger fields and multi-day events still work, we just scope them and send a custom quote instead of a standard price.

What success looks like

So we can tell you straight whether we are the right team.

Budget and timing

Fully-managed service is a real line item. Straight answers save us both time.

A CUP engagement runs roughly 150 to 200 hours of planning, design, marketing and coordination, handled by one team from the first call to the final award. Applications need a real budget line for professional management, separate from venue, food and prizes.
Worth knowing before you submit: a fully-managed engagement sits above this range, so this is likely not a fit for 2027. You are welcome to apply anyway. If self-serve is the better move right now, you can list your sporting event and add promotion here: list your event.
