Venue Overview

Chipeta Golf Course is a public executive course in Grand Junction, built with one goal in mind: making golf fun. The 18-hole layout plays to a par of 60 across 3,835 yards, with par fours ranging from 250 to 386 yards and par threes stretching from 114 to 235 yards, giving golfers a chance to use every club in the bag without the time commitment of a full-length round. Owned by the Wilson Golf Group, Chipeta has become a favorite stop for golfers of all skill levels looking for a well-maintained, quick nine or a casual, relaxed eighteen. Practice Facilities

Chipeta’s executive-length layout doubles as an ideal practice environment, letting golfers work on their full range of clubs in a single, well-maintained round. The course also hosts regular Glowball night events, giving golfers a unique after-dark twist on the game throughout the summer season. These evening events, which run roughly every two weeks between July and September, use glow-in-the-dark balls and lighting to turn a standard round into a social, nighttime outing for groups of friends.

Dining and Amenities

Beyond golf, Chipeta is home to premier pickleball courts, open for events, parties, and reservations, giving the property a dual identity as a gathering spot for both sports. The course’s events team runs dozens of golf outings and pickleball events each year, handling the planning so groups can simply show up, play, and enjoy the day. Whether it’s a birthday outing, a company gathering, or a casual meetup with friends, Chipeta’s team works to take the logistics off a group’s plate.
