Venue Overview

Blackstone Country Club is a private, Jay Morrish-designed golf club in Aurora, Colorado, founded in 2005 by Toll Golf (a division of luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers) as the centerpiece of the Blackstone residential community. Since ClubCorp (now Invited) acquired the club in 2014, Blackstone has shared a single membership with sister club Black Bear Golf Club in Parker, giving members access to 36 holes of championship golf across two properties.

About the Course

Blackstone's par-72 championship layout was designed by Jay Morrish — Golf World Magazine's 1996 Architect of the Year, who spent a decade working alongside Jack Nicklaus and twelve years as Tom Weiskopf's design partner before launching his own practice. The course stretches to roughly 7,313 yards from the back tees, framed by Rocky Mountain views, rolling fairways, strategic bunkering, and water features, culminating in a demanding back-nine stretch known among members as "The Gauntlet."

From Toll Brothers Showpiece to Invited Club

Blackstone was built as the golf centerpiece of Toll Brothers' upscale Blackstone community before ClubCorp purchased the club in 2014, folding it into what is now the Invited network of private clubs nationwide. Along the way, Blackstone has hosted the Colorado Open and built a reputation as one of the premier private clubs in the Denver metro, all while maintaining Morrish's original design intent of letting the natural contours of the land dictate strategy on every hole.
