About the Organizer
If you’re here looking for the person responsible for organizing this event… well, you found them. Whether that’s a good thing or slightly concerning is still up for debate.
My name is Andrew, and I’m the human behind the scenes trying to make sure this event runs smoothly, the golfers show up on time (or at least close to it), the sponsors are happy, and nobody accidentally drives a golf cart into a lake. Again.
I founded Colorado Under Par because I genuinely love sporting events that bring people together for a good cause. There’s something special about a day where competition, community, and generosity all show up at the same time. One minute people are talking strategy, the next minute they’re laughing at someone’s triple bogey, and by the end of the day thousands of dollars have been raised for an organization that truly needs it. That combination never gets old.
Before getting into the event world, I spent time working across a few different industries including finance, operations, and project management. What I learned from those experiences was simple: when events are well organized, everyone has more fun and more money gets raised. When they’re not… well, let’s just say things get “memorable” for all the wrong reasons.
That’s where I come in.
Over the years I’ve helped organize and support more than 100 sporting events, working alongside nonprofits, businesses, venues, volunteers, and a lot of passionate organizers who simply want their event to succeed. My job is usually somewhere between event strategist, logistics manager, marketing support, and professional problem-solver.
In other words: if something unexpected happens during an event, there’s a good chance I’m the one quietly running across the golf course trying to fix it.
Outside of events, I’m someone who simply enjoys sports, community gatherings, and projects that bring people together. Golf happens to be one of the best environments for that because it allows beginners and experienced players to share the same day, the same course, and usually the same stories afterward.
My philosophy is pretty simple:
Great events don’t happen by accident. They happen through thoughtful planning, strong partnerships, and a little bit of organized chaos behind the scenes.
So if you’re participating in this event, sponsoring it, volunteering, or just browsing the page to see what it’s all about—welcome. You’re part of the reason events like this continue to grow.
And if everything runs perfectly on event day, just remember… it probably means there were about 200 small problems solved before you ever noticed them.
Thanks for being here and supporting the event.
