Honor Bell Patriot Classic

The Honor Bell Foundation brings its Patriot Classic to Colorado National Golf Club in Erie on Thursday, September 24, a scramble supporting the Foundation’s mission of ensuring veterans receive the dignity, remembrance and tribute they deserve.

The day starts at 7:00 AM with registration, the driving range opening and on-course snacks. Sponsors and golfers check in over breakfast at 7:30 AM, announcements and the rules of play follow at 8:15 AM alongside an Honor Bell Ceremony, and the tournament itself begins at 8:30 AM. Play wraps into a 2:00 PM silent auction, cocktails, lunch, awards and a prize drawing, winners must be present.

The format is a scramble, players are asked to share a cart, and the dress code is a collared shirt with golf-appropriate shorts, slacks or a golf skirt. No denim. A veteran discount brings entry to $120.

The silent auction runs online as well as on the day, and sponsorships and auction item donations are both still being sought. Golfers can also set up individual fundraising pages through the event’s Champions programme.
