About the Stadium

The building opened on August 11, 2001, at a cost of $400.7 million. HNTB led the design with Fentress Bradburn Architects and Bertram A. Bruton Architects. Turner, Empire and Alvarado Construction built it. The result is a five-level bowl that reads as a modern NFL stadium but sits on ground Denver has associated with football for generations.

Parking & Access

Off-site options exist at Ball Arena, the Auraria Campus, the Denver Aquarium and Riverside Church, none of which are stadium controlled, so confirm rates and hours with those operators directly.

RTD rail serves the stadium at Empower Field at Mile High Station and Decatur-Federal Station. For a morning race with a large field, rail is usually the cleaner answer than fighting for lot space.
