Venue Overview

Cedaredge Golf Course sits at 6,200 feet on the south side of the Grand Mesa, offering one of the more scenic 18-hole rounds on Colorado’s Western Slope. Voted Best Golf Course in Delta County in 2023, the course pairs a tree-lined, creek-crossed front nine with a hillside back nine full of elevation change, giving golfers two distinct halves in a single round. Its small-town setting in Cedaredge keeps the pace relaxed, while the course itself offers enough variety and challenge to satisfy golfers of every level, from first-time players working on the fundamentals to low-handicap regulars looking for a genuine test.

About the Course

Cedaredge’s front nine winds through tree-lined fairways with meandering creeks coming into play on several holes, rewarding accuracy over raw distance. The back nine shifts character entirely, climbing along the hillside with real elevation changes, tighter fairways, and undulating greens that demand more precise approach shots. The combination gives golfers a genuinely varied test: a shot-shaping, strategic front nine followed by a more physically demanding, target-golf back nine, all framed by views of the Grand Mesa and the surrounding valley.

Practice Facilities

Golfers can warm up on Cedaredge’s driving range before heading to the first tee, and the course’s staff offers lessons for golfers just picking up the game as well as those looking to sharpen their skills. Junior Golf Clinics and events like Chip & Sip run through the summer season, giving golfers of all ages a reason to spend time around the practice facility. These programs have become a staple of the Cedaredge summer calendar, introducing new players to the game in a low-pressure setting while giving experienced golfers a fun, social way to spend a summer evening with friends and neighbors from around the valley.

Dining and Amenities

The clubhouse is home to the Lucky Shot Restaurant, a full-service bar and restaurant serving refreshments, snacks, lunch, and dinner before or after a round. The pro shop stocks equipment and apparel from popular brands, helps golfers get properly outfitted before their round, offers custom orders for gear not on the shelf, and sells gift certificates redeemable for merchandise or a round of golf, a popular option for golfers shopping for gifts in the Cedaredge and Delta County area.
