The Bridges Golf & Country Club is Montrose's premier semi-private club, built around a Nicklaus Design golf course and framed by sweeping views of the San Juan Mountains. A recent multi-million-dollar transformation refreshed the clubhouse, golf shop, and Remington's Restaurant, and added a brand-new Founder's Lounge for members. While membership opens the door to priority tee times and full club privileges, The Bridges also welcomes the public for tee times, tournaments, weddings, and private events, making it one of the Western Slope's most versatile golf and event venues. About the Course

The Bridges' 18-hole championship layout was designed by Nicklaus Design and carries the risk-reward philosophy that defines the brand throughout its routing. The course runs along the Loutsenhizer Canal and Montrose Arroyo, with water and strategic bunkering coming into play on nearly every hole. The par-5 opener eases golfers in with a generous landing area before the course builds toward its stroke-index-one fifth hole, a demanding par 4 played with the San Juans as a backdrop. Signature holes include a redan-style par 3 along the canal, a driveable par 4 that tempts long hitters, and a closing par 4 where a lakeside green has decided plenty of member matches. Tiered and multi-level greens throughout the course reward precise distance control and thoughtful course management over raw power. The layout's variety, tight risk-reward par 4s, three reachable par 5s, and five distinct par 3s, keeps golfers thinking through all 18 holes rather than relying on a single strategy.

Practice Facilities

Members and guests have access to practice areas built to prepare golfers for the course's demanding greens and strategic bunkering, giving players a chance to dial in their swing and short game before heading to the first tee.
