Golf Granby Ranch is an 18-hole public course set at 7,935 feet in the town of Granby, roughly 90 miles northwest of Denver in the heart of Colorado's mountain resort corridor. The front nine winds through native grasses and wetlands along the Fraser River, while the back nine climbs into dramatically hilly terrain, opening up sweeping views of the surrounding peaks and abundant wildlife. Golf attire, including a collared shirt, is required for all players, and tee times are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Practice Facilities

Golf Granby Ranch maintains an on-site driving range for warming up before a round, though it closes for routine maintenance from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning each week during the season. The course recently added Titleist rental clubs, giving traveling golfers access to premium equipment without needing to bring their own set on the trip, and the fleet was expanded with ten new golf carts as part of a broader push to improve conditions across the entire property.

The GR Eats Food Truck, stationed at the golf course clubhouse, serves freshly made sandwiches, fried foods, and portable snacks daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. throughout the golf season. Guests 21 and older can purchase alcoholic drinks, and non-alcoholic options like water and soda are also available, making the food truck an easy stop before teeing off or when turning from the front nine to the back.

Individual lesson rates range from $50 for a 30-minute junior session up to $120 for a one-hour adult lesson, with discounted rates available for Granby Ranch homeowners. Five-lesson packages are available at a reduced per-session rate, and golfers can also book a 1.5-hour playing lesson focused on on-course strategy: club selection, shot placement, double-bogey avoidance, and building a confident pre-shot routine.
