Venue Overview
Life Time Westminster is a full-service indoor athletic club at 397 W 148th Ave in Westminster, and one of the north metro’s most accessible year-round pickleball options. The club opened in November 2008 as Life Time’s second Colorado location, with pickleball added to the sports menu in later years. What sets it apart for players is the sheer size of the daily window: the pickleball courts are posted open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week, indoors, which makes it one of the easiest places on the north side to get a session in before work or late at night regardless of the season.
About the Courts
The pickleball courts here are indoor and available year-round, confirmed by the club’s own booking system. Life Time does not publish a court count, surface specification, or lighting detail for this location, so we have not listed one; the numbers circulating on crowd-sourced directories are unverified. There is no tennis at this club, which means the pickleball courts are not shared or dual-striped with another racquet sport. Court time is reserved through the Member App or MyLT.com, and reservations are required.
A Seventeen-Hour Daily Window
Most Front Range clubs limit pickleball to fixed blocks. Westminster posts its courts from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day, which is a genuinely wide booking window and the club’s strongest practical advantage for players juggling work schedules. Because play is fully indoors, that window holds through winter, when outdoor complexes across the metro shut down for snow and ice.

Lessons & Instruction
Life Time runs a standard national pickleball program across its clubs, and Westminster maintains live, club-scoped schedules for Open Play and its Intro to Pickleball class. The program menu includes Intro to Pickleball, Open Play for ages 12 and up with registration required, mixers, clinics, private lessons, leagues, and junior pickleball. Formats and level bands vary by club and season. No instructors are named publicly for this location, so contact the club directly for current coaching availability.
Leagues & Events
Westminster hosts the Life Time Westminster Annual Winter Classic, which drew 93 registered players for its February 2026 edition. The format is round robin to 15 with medal matches best-of-three to 11, and every entrant is guaranteed four games. The tournament is open to both members and non-members, which makes it one of the more accessible entry points to this club for outside players.
Planning Your Sporting Event Here
Indoor courts, a seventeen-hour daily operating window and a proven annual tournament make Westminster a workable host for club-scale events that need weather certainty. Access for regular play is member-based with a reservation requirement, and a day-pass path is published in the club FAQ; tournament entry is open to non-members at a higher tier. Contact the club to discuss availability for a tournament or group booking.
