Every listing in this category is a golf tournament: a one-off event lasting a day or a few days, as opposed to a weekly league. Most are charity scrambles and fundraisers for schools, nonprofits and causes, along with amateur stroke play championships, member-guest events, corporate outings and qualifiers.
Tournament season in Colorado peaks from late spring through early fall, and good dates at popular courses book months ahead. Scrambles usually include a shotgun start, on-course contests like longest drive and closest to the pin, raffles and an awards meal. Mountain tournaments offer cooler temperatures in summer, while Front Range events can run into October.

Golf Tournament FAQ
What is a scramble format?

Often yes, many organizers will pair singles into teams. Check the registration options.
How far ahead should I plan a golf tournament?
Plan at least six months ahead for a summer date. Popular courses and weekends fill early.
