Every listing in this category is a golf tournament: a one-off event lasting a day or a few days, as opposed to a weekly league. Most are charity scrambles and fundraisers for schools, nonprofits and causes, along with amateur stroke play championships, member-guest events, corporate outings and qualifiers.
Tournament season in Colorado peaks from late spring through early fall, and good dates at popular courses book months ahead. Scrambles usually include a shotgun start, on-course contests like longest drive and closest to the pin, raffles and an awards meal. Mountain tournaments offer cooler temperatures in summer, while Front Range events can run into October.
