Venue Overview

Future Legends Complex in Windsor is a multi-sport youth and tournament complex serving Northern Colorado, with outdoor pickleball courts, an indoor dome, baseball diamonds and soccer pitches on one campus. Its strongest differentiator is scale: the indoor dome covers 4 acres and stands 96 feet tall, big enough to hold 16 volleyball matches at once or up to 24 pickleball courts when wind or cold moves play inside. Established in 2021, it is built around a dorm-style tournament model, which makes it a natural host for multi-day events.

About the Courts

  • 16 outdoor pickleball courts with premium surfacing
  • Up to 24 indoor pickleball courts set up inside the dome on windy or cold days
  • Indoor dome of 4 acres, 96 feet tall, split between pro-grade turf and a Sport Court hard court side
  • 16 regulation indoor volleyball courts on a 2-acre setup in half of the dome
  • 10 baseball diamonds and 12 soccer pitches
  • Future Legends Stadium
  • A 64-team dorm in the middle of the complex

History

Future Legends Complex was established in 2021. It is home to the NoCo Owlz, Hailstorm FC and NoCo Rain FC.

Play and Programs

Pickleball at Future Legends is built for all skill levels, from friendly matches to league play. The complex runs an ongoing pickleball club and leagues, offers lessons, and lists pickleball tournaments and camps as coming soon. Camps are described as covering skill building and rules instruction. When weather turns, play moves from the 16 outdoor courts into the climate-controlled dome.

Events Held Here

  • Pickleball: club play and leagues, with tournaments and camps listed as coming soon.
  • Volleyball: indoor tournaments for players of all levels in the dome, with Rocky Mountain Region Volleyball and Uprise Volleyball as partners, plus adult indoor volleyball leagues.
  • Soccer: home of Hailstorm FC and NoCo Rain FC, with 12 pitches for tournament play.
  • Baseball and softball: home of the NoCo Owlz, with 10 diamonds.
  • Basketball, football and lacrosse: offered among the complex’s sports, along with futsal and flag football.

Upcoming events at this venue are listed below.

Lessons, Coaching & Programs

Future Legends offers pickleball lessons and runs leagues across several sports, with schedules posted on the complex’s league site. Coordinators handle program questions by email. No coaches or instructors are named on the complex’s site.

Food, Drink & Amenities

  • On-site restaurants where teams can eat meals
  • A 64-team dorm for traveling teams
  • Hotels about a hundred yards from the dorms, according to CEO Jeff Katofsky
  • Less than an hour from Denver International Airport
  • Climate-controlled indoor dome

Private Events & Groups

Future Legends books tournaments and events across its fields, courts and dome through its Book Now page and coordinators. The math for a pickleball event is generous: 16 outdoor courts at four players each puts 64 players on court at once, and a 24-court dome setup puts 96 on court.

Membership or Access

Future Legends is pay-to-play. Courts and spaces are booked through the complex, and pickleball players can ask to join the Pickleball Club. No membership is required to book.

Planning Your Event Here

For a pickleball tournament, plan on four players per court: 16 outdoor courts handle a 64-player wave. Windsor sits on the open Front Range, so ask about the dome as a weather backup when you book. For multi-day youth events, the on-site dorm and nearby hotels let teams stay on campus. Book early for spring and summer weekends, when tournament demand is highest. Contact the venue for current pricing and availability.

Apply for Event Management

Event Management Application (2027)
CUP manages 10 sporting events per season, and that is the cap.
Applications for the 2027 season are open now. Returning clients confirm their dates first, then remaining slots go to new clients. This is an application, not a booking, and it takes about 6 minutes.

Your organization

Who is hosting, and how we reach you.

Beneficiary

Only if the event raises money for a cause.

Your sporting event

The basics we need to judge fit.

Out-of-state note: our standard pricing covers events held in Colorado. Events outside Colorado are quoted individually with travel and on-site costs included.
Worth knowing before you submit: our fully-managed service starts at 100 people on site. Below that the economics do not work for either of us, so this is likely not a fit. You can still apply, and you can always list your sporting event on the CUP calendar instead.
This one gets a custom quote. Our standard service model covers single-day events with 100 to 160 people on site, including vendors. Larger fields and multi-day events still work, we just scope them and send a custom quote instead of a standard price.

What success looks like

So we can tell you straight whether we are the right team.

Budget and timing

Fully-managed service is a real line item. Straight answers save us both time.

A CUP engagement runs roughly 150 to 200 hours of planning, design, marketing and coordination, handled by one team from the first call to the final award. Applications need a real budget line for professional management, separate from venue, food and prizes.
Worth knowing before you submit: a fully-managed engagement sits above this range, so this is likely not a fit for 2027. You are welcome to apply anyway. If self-serve is the better move right now, you can list your sporting event and add promotion here: list your event.

Then we will be in touch.
